Byron Shire Council is currently seeking a Land Use Planning Coordinator to lead and coordinate the staff and activities of the Land Use Planning team to deliver a high level of service in Land Use and environmental planning in accordance with legislation policies aligned with Council’s and the communities priorities.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to strategic Land Use Planning or a related discipline, and equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated high level of experience in a strategic planning role with significant knowledge of matters affecting Land Use Planning including relevant legislation in the operational context of local government.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to coordinate the activities of a team of professional staff with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

- Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $98,083 pa to $113,644 pa (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location:
The position is based at Mullumbimby however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
