What are we looking for?Come and join our fast growing Public Liability team in the Sydney Office. We are now seeking a talented and professional Law Clerk on a full time basis.
In this role you will assist the team in managing and progressing medical law matters, as you review medical reports and draft legal correspondence. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Review, analyse and summarise medical records and other medical documents
- Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs when required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations
- Working closely with the legal teams to advance legal matters for clients
You will have experience in legal support roles with a passion for social justice and generating positive outcomes for clients. The following experience and skills will ensure your success in this position:
- A keen interest in tort law, either as a current law student or similar
- Experience in legal support roles is highly desirable but not essential
- Exposure to Public Liability or a similar plaintiff personal injury practice
- A natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy
- Exceptional experience in communication and customer service
- Excellent written and drafting skills
- Recognise the importance of attention to detail and time management
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
