Due to business growth, we are hiring legal assistant/s, law clerk/s and/or junior lawyer/s.
Positions available in personal injury law and wills & estates.
Position location can be in Wodonga, Wangaratta, Myrtleford or Bright.
The role:
- Assisting lawyer.
- Managing client communications by taking calls, responding to emails, entering data, arranging appointments, corresponding with supervising lawyer.
- Drafting legal documents, preparing letters, accounts, briefs and other documents.
- Maintaining client files.
- Diary management.
- Maintaining legal database (Affinity).
About you:
Experience in legal drafting desirable but not essential.
- Patient and kind in client interactions.
- Professional phone and written communication style.
- Strong work ethic.
- An eye for detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Effective time management.
- Effective communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
