About the Job
We are seeking a lawyer who is recently admitted or has up to two years’ post-admission experience to join us on a full-time basis working predominantly in our firm’s criminal defence and litigation practice areas with exposure to succession and estate matters.
The successful applicant will be based at our Innisfail office but will also see clients regularly at our Cairns office by appointment. For the right applicant, flexible work arrangements (including work from home), excellent above market remuneration and revenue sharing is on offer.
We will provide you with a steady and consistent work load with ample advocacy opportunities in ADR forums, courts and/or tribunals predominantly in Cairns and Innisfail but also remotely.
About You
This is a fantastic position for a highly motivated and disciplined junior lawyer who is personable, has an excellent eye for detail and is keen to grow and advance their skillset in a small law firm environment with direct supervision and mentoring from the managing director.
Advanced proficiency with Office 365 (in particular Word, Outlook and Excel), Adobe Pro and modern IT systems are essential.
