The Opportunity
As our full time, permanent Learning Coordinator, based in our Brisbane CBD head office, you’ll support our progressive and authentic firm as we champion what’s right. Reporting to the Organisational Development Manager, you’ll coordinate and provide operational support for the internal and external learning, process and change programs here at Shine, to drive the success of our people.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end learning program across Shine, including our webinar program, team days, and formal learning programs. You’ll take responsibility for scheduling external training and conference requests, and work with our external panel of specialist providers for learning content (coaches, external trainers, videography, etc).
You’ll work closely with the rest of the Organisational Development team, to ensure facilitators and presenters are prepared, and provide administrative support to the team, maintaining the team inbox and responding to queries. You’ll also be our resident Learning Management System (LMS) and Knowledge Management (KM) expert, maintaining users across our various systems as part of our onboarding and offboarding processes.
Finally, you’ll be exposed to business process improvement, too – supporting the team with the development of quality business process content and learning resources, and assisting to maintain relevant intranet content.
Your personable, friendly nature will ensure that our people feel supported in their learning journey, whilst establishing key skills for their success at Shine. Experience in the legal field isn’t required – we know you’ll be able to pick up new knowledge and concepts quickly.
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
- Prior experience in an administrative or coordination role in a human resources or learning team is highly desirable, but not essential for success – we’re open to mentoring you if you have an interest in the field!
- A strong focus on stakeholder servicing, with a client focussed approach
- Proactive and strong ability to multi-task, manage and prioritise multiple stakeholders, requests and initiatives simultaneously
- Organised and attentive to detail scheduling skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your written communication
- The ability to learn new systems, software and programs quickly
- Previous experience working or supporting content systems including LMS or process would be an advantage but not essential
- A team focused mentality, and an ability to work effectively as part of an immediate and wider team
- We encourage HR students with an interest in Learning to apply, if you can work full time on an ongoing basis
At Shine, purpose really matters.
- It’s our clients, who summon the courage to stand up to injustice.
- It’s the communities we are part of and support every day.
- It’s our team, who champion what’s right and make this place what it is.
Here are some of the things we hope you’ll love about working with us:
- Connect and be you: Get the flexibility and benefits you need, and work alongside truly authentic people who care so much - about the clients, Shine and you. You’ll enjoy the safety and security of a large, well-established firm that treats you as a person, not a number.
- Challenge and be challenged: We’re not here for “easy”. We want you to take your place at Shine and make a real impact. Question and challenge - that’s how we grow.
- Achieve and grow: Start your Shine journey with our award winning in-house learning programs, where you’ll find immediate connection and be set up for success. You will be provided real opportunities to step up and grow - within your role and beyond.
