About the role

Join us as we continue to transform. In this role you will directly contribute to delivering on our Treasury Portfolio with particular focus on managing our in-house and vendor platforms and SasS solutions. You will join a great go-getting team where you will provide teams with technical direction.  This is a great role as you will get exposure working across our Treasury, Financial Risk and Payment platforms.

In this role you will get to:

• Maintain and support our Treasury In-house platform, Vendor platform and SaaS solutions, providing technical direction and mentoring engineers, guiding them as they scale up for transformation delivery.
• Take ownership of the technical direction, working with architects on end-to-end design, tooling and patterns.
• Working with stakeholders and the Vendor to identify and implement the most optimal solutions to drive innovation and improve performance.
• Producing technical design documentation artefacts.
• Working with product owners and business analysts to deliver features.
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with enterprise security architectures. 

About you

You will have previous experience in software development, maintenance and support with a focus on managing in-house platforms, vendor-based platforms and SaaS solutions.  As well as having the ability to lead software engineers to design, build and maintain software from development through to production.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enrich platform functionality and performance, uplifting the standard for the team.
• Experience with Cloud capabilities preferably AWS, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with technologies – Node.js, Typescript, Kong, Java, Springboot, CI/CD pipelines, Window server, SQL.
• Adopting ITIL to streamline processes and ensure service quality and availability.
• Experience on Treasury, Financial Risk or Payment platforms (FIS platforms including Quantum or Balance Sheet Management (formerly Ambit Focus) platforms would be an advantage).
