About the Role
This pivotal role entails leading a team of technical and business specialists and comes with excellent exposure and development opportunities.
This role will be responsible for driving Technology's Strategy for our East Coast operations, through rigorous prioritisation and ideation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- With value at the forefront, provide thought leadership in how Technology can shape the future of the business.
- Ownership and governance of the DPD team processes and routines
- Lead a team to problem solve and think outside the box to solve business opportunities through the Discovery process
- Ensure there is a pipeline of clearly defined valued opportunities across the supply chain aligned to the business' Technology strategy and roadmap
- Supporting transition of products from Development into a Product Team including the development of proof-of-concept or prototype concepts
- Track, monitor and report on pipeline, value, and DPD progress to the Business and Technology Leadership Teams
- Ensure the Technology agenda in embedded into relevant Business routines
- Coordinate sessions with external vendors and service providers as part of solution options analysis
- Senior Industrial, Commercial or Business Qualifications with proven business experience
- Strategic, customer-centric, value-driven mindset
- A strong understanding of the digital landscape and demonstrated experience leading a transformation agenda
- Leadership and influencing skills, with the skill to challenge respectfully and lead a team effectively
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to work with highly diverse teams and drive collaboration in a cross functional team environment, working effectively across all levels in the organization
- Ability to operate at a fast pace in a dynamic environment and able to triage priorities
Technical skills
- Being hypothesis minded, deriving actionable insights from our vast operational and organizational data.
