About the Role

Reporting to the GM of Organisational Development, the?Leadership Development Specialist?is responsible for developing, designing, facilitating, and evaluating leadership training to ensure required operational capability across our services. This will be accomplished through a broad range of learning and development interventions across different leadership levels of the organisation.

Our Leadership Development Specialist will be responsible to:

  • Develop and deliver blended leadership interventions that increase leadership capability for professionals at various levels, from entry-level to executives with a mix of internal and external providers, including sourcing external providers.
  • Safe Places have a deeply embedded commitment to face to face learning and as such you are supporting in cultivating a thriving learning culture through facilitated and experiential interventions.
  • You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning experiences, and will have a lot of ways in which to develop and innovate, bringing the best of what you do to the organisation.

  • Mastering learner engagement through a data and quality lens, whilst staying focused on making a difference to our young people.

About You

Our Leadership Development Specialist will bring a genuine passion to making a difference in the lives of young people and our communities, holding certain attributes, and demonstrated knowledge and experience. ??

  • You will have extensive experience of Leadership Development with excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences both in person and online.?
  • You will be a hands-on specialist who is able to consult and collaborate with senior leaders and work on organisational wide learning activities, but not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and work in the detail.
  • You value different perspectives and succeeding together, collaborating across services and holding yourself accountable to get things done.?

Experience and Qualifications to include:

Tertiary - Degree in Social Work. Psychology, Organisational Development or Masters in Education, or equivalent qualification in relevant field.
