The Role
We are looking for a Leading Hand with previous experience in the Waste, Sewer, Water and/or Stormwater Industries, who shows a commitment to being a team player. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed person who has a genuine ‘can do’ attitude and is keen to continually grow with the organisation.
The key Role Responsibilities include
- Lead your team to achieve the work required to the highest possible standard (likely crew of 6)
- Interact with Operations Management to effectively plan and execute pipe relining works
- Liaise with clients in relation to specific work completed and ensure delivery is inline with PMA standards
- Carry out daily JSEA safety checks with your onsite crew
- Responsible for your teams’ onsite safety
- Completing daily reports
To be successful in this position you will have the following:
- HR/MR Licence
- Comply with company standards and guidelines
- Follow instructions and show initiative to get in and help when required
- Construction Industry Card
- Able to work additional hours as required (night works, weekends)
- Confined Space ticket
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand or similar role
- Basic computer skills.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organised and capable of meeting deadlines.
