Position Objective
Responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation in their respective department and the daily communications associated with manufacturing processes from both internal and/or external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure efficient running of Production
· Ensure lines are running within all Safety and GMP Standards
· Know the role and responsibilities of all Bottle Filling positions
· Organise operators for the line to maximise efficiency
· Organise rotation of staff on the line
· Perform monthly stocktakes
· Maintain records such as timesheets, movement forms, confirmation forms, stock takes and conducts other
documentation duties
· Know how to perform JIB’s for department
· Report any possible hazards/risks to safety Committee
· Review daily production schedule and determine truck numbers required
· Perform area clearances where required on the line
· Relieve Operators during meal breaks
· Train/delegate training of casual employees
· Perform training assessments
· Raise critical workorders when required
· Ensure checks are completed on all Batch Documents as required
· Follow safe practices, and those specific to Bottle Filling
· Raise maintenance work orders and follow up
· Must conform to specification as per PRO08 Bottle Filling manual, including line clearance and QA Inspections
· Prepare filling equipment, line flushes, prep-room material
· preparation etc
· Attend to preventative maintenance tasks and seek maintenance department input when necessary
· Review daily production schedule and monitor outputs to achieve scheduled quantities, involving start / stop of line for
authorises breaks
· Deliver parts to the line when required
· Perform Emergency Stop checks as required using MAINPAC Form
· Remove defective bottles from line. eg. Squashed bottles
· Complete stopper assembly and insert into bottle as per JIB
· Maintain level of caps in capping machine hopper
· Inspect bottles for correct video imprint and defective caps or incorrectly capped bottles
· Perform hammer checks on glass bottles as required
· Performs duties of Truck Loader/ as part of the rotation
· Handling of Pharmaceutical and Narcotics Codes
· Transfer release raw materials into clean room
· Incorporate EMS practices into daily routine
· Perform other duties as required
EHS & GMP Responsibilities (Individual Contributor)
· Pro-actively contribute to zero harm workplace for all employees
· Comply with legal and corporate EHS requirements, safe work practices and EHS policies and procedures at all times
· Report all hazards, near misses and incidents as soon as practicable and participate in identifying actions to prevent
harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment
· Employees at every level are responsible for quality (GMP) and regulatory performance in the department to ensure
quality program is met
· Ensure compliance with government regulations, legal documents and safety and ethical standards, obtaining legal
compliance training.
EHS Responsibilities (People Leader)
· Drive culture of zero harm workplace for all employees
· Ensure compliance with legal and corporate EHS requirements, safe work practices and EHS policies and procedures
at all times
· Ensure all hazards, near misses and incidents are reported and investigated to identify root cause and ensure actions
implemented to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment
· Ensure all employees trained to perform their roles safely and any regulatory-based training is completed as required
