Who are we looking for?
Due to Fulton Hogan's ongoing growth within the Region, we are looking for an experienced Miller Operator to join our team in Palmerston North and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.
The job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our hard-working surfacing team as a Mill Operator. Reporting to the Foreman, you will primarily be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of both a Wirtgen Rotomill and a Bobcat Skid Steer.
You'll also
- Understand and embrace our living safely approach.
- Operate earthmoving equipment and general maintenance to best practice.
- Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates, the environment, public and yourself.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction.
Experience and attributes;
- Full Class 2 license and WTR.
- Experience in operating milling machines 1m wide minimum.
- Able to work both independently or as a team
- An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be a reliable individual with a strong work ethic
