The Position
This position is responsible for coordinating the maintenance and development of our parks, reserves and landscapes within AlburyCity.

Qualifications & experience
- Minimum Certificate IV in Horticultural discipline or extensive relevant industry experience
- Class C (Standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Construction Induction Card
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a horticultural discipline and leading a multidisciplinary team
- Undertake all employee management activities relevant to the role, including; recruitment, performance management/reviews, employee development, disciplinary action, rostering and timesheets, as well as ensuring a high level of employee motivation and team harmony.
- Provide advice and recommendations on all aspects of the Parks and landscapes maintenance.
- Coordinate the maintenance of Albury's parks, reserves and landscape areas.
- Assist in preparing designs, co-ordinate the implementation of projects within the Parks Section.
- Assist in the planting and maintenance of the City's trees.
Hours
Based on a 38-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
