About the Role:
Assisting the Steel Fabrication Manager, the Leading Hand Steel Fabricator will be running various fabrication jobs, and occasionally responsible for a small team of fabricators whilst still working on the tools. Based out of North Geelong, there is a good mix of both site and workshop work, all located around the Greater Geelong area. With the business growing rapidly, there is plenty of opportunity for career growth within the engineering sector.

Skills and experience:
- Trade qualification
- Previous experience running jobs & leading a team
- Previous experience in commercial projects an advantage
- Reliable and hard working with a professional work ethic
- Can adapt to a changing work environment
- Ability to work from complex instructions and procedures
- Excellent measuring and calculation skills
- Ability to build relationships with clients and team members
- Have sound understanding of the construction process
- Have an ongoing commitment to OHS in the workplace
- Must have drivers licence and own transport
- Must be willing to provide a current police check
