About St Vincent de Paul Society
For more than 165 years we have been providing practical and compassionate support to people across Victoria whose daily struggles can include putting food on the table, paying essential utilities and ensuring their children remain at school to obtain an education.
Under our Good Works umbrella we have many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria (VCV), which assists some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly.
The Position:
The Learning and Development Coordinator is a .8 role who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Organization Development (OD) team with a strong focus on Learning Management Systems (LMS) processes, and coordination of training and diversity programs across The Group. The coordinator will manage the Learning and Development inbox. Along with assisting with the implementation of programs and initiatives including tracking data and compiling reports, updating systems, coordinating events, managing invoices, and providing support to the OD team.
- Manage and respond to the Learning and Development(L&D) inbox and ‘BAU’ tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate and communicate training programs as per the training calendar, including session set up, catering, ordering of materials, tracking post course and managing costs.
- Automated Reporting:
- Managing and updating files as per BAU
- Import members data base
- Responding to needs and question of stakeholders
- Create monthly board reports
- Manage data base and LMS updates accordingly.
- Create, manage and improve L&D processes and flow.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency of processes.
- Manage vendor invoices, training budget and administration.
- Support with administrative duties relating to OD & L&D.
- Provide support and contribute to Special projects.
The Person:
A highly organized and diligent individual with a proven ability to multitask effectively. They should have previous experience in administration and coordination, coupled with a strong desire to learn and develop.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyse data to make informed decisions and measure progress towards goals.
- Proficient in learning management systems LMS (Litmos preferred but not essential), data base, Power BI, Microsoft suite, and other relevant software is often necessary for managing training data, reports and communication.
- Ability to identify and improve systems and processes.
- Previous experience in administration and coordination is essential.
