About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Learning and Development Coordinator – Supported Employment to join the People & Culture team! The role will be based at our head office in Keysborough and will require working at other sites as needed.
Reporting to the Senior Manager People, Learning and Safety. In this unique role you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a variety of non-accredited Learning and Development programs offered to Wallara Supported Employees, including but not limited to; on the job skills, upskilling, mandatory learning. The areas of employment will cover hospitality, logistics (warehouse & production) and land management services. You will need to have excellent administration and customer service skills, a high level of attention to detail and be ready to hit the ground running!
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience in or knowledge of the disability sector
- Proven experience with implementing process improvement and the ability to identify proactive solutions
- Knowledge of, or ability to acquire detailed knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices
- Appropriate/relevant/transferable qualifications, experience and skills in education, training, disability/community service
- Coordination experience
- Demonstrated previous experience in coordinating the delivery, design of learning/training programs
- Demonstrated previous experience in learning/training programs producing materials/resources.

- Strong networking skills with the proven ability to support the development of new initiatives
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and 'can do' attitude with a demonstrated professional approach to work
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires you to think on your feet and multi task
- Resourceful and innovative approach
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation.
Must haves
- Right to work in Australia
- Mandatory NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Full Victorian driver licence
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination, including booster (or medical exemption).
