Job description

We are currently looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator. This is a permanent, full-time role, 38 hours per week although I'm open to someone looking to work 3-4 days per week. We offer a hybrid working model with the option to work from home as well as the office.

About your new role

Our Learning & Development Coordinator is going to be adding immediate value to our business by helping getting our frontline employees onboarded quicker, supporting managers and employees in upskilling their soft skills and working on strategic development initiatives. You are good at planning and managing your time, have an eye for design and flair for learning principles as well as a love for writing content.

Here's what your day could look like:

  • Supporting the business in improving standard operating procedures and converting them into training courses
  • Reviewing existing online courses and updating the content to make it more relevant, engaging and easier to consume
  • Creating new online courses, requiring close partnership with SME's around the business
  • Resolving learning related tickets
  • Sending out monthly training reports and prompting regular training completion from managers
  • Managing our Learning Management System (LMS) as a part of our wider HRIS (SuccessFactors - a SAP product)
  • Working with the team on P&C strategy

About your new team

Some experience in process or training creation is required. What we want to see from you is:

  • Organisation - you like to keep things neat, tidy and accurate
  • Prioritisation - you make sure things get done based on importance
  • Growth mindset - you don't mind being wrong or making a mistake, as long as you can learn from it
  • Tech savvy - you can pick up new systems and software easily and quickly
  • Customer Service - you approach problem solving with the customer in mind (in our case, our managers and employees)
  • Detail - your attention to detail means mistakes are minimal (we're only human!)
  • Communication - you keep people informed verbally and in writing
