About the position
Applications are currently invited from outstanding, passionate and dedicated ICT professionals to join our tight knit team:
You will be primarily responsible for ongoing management, operation and development of the School’s Online Learning Management System Astra (Schoolbox) and to support the development and encourage the use of Technology in the classroom.
You will be required to carry out other IT related tasks as needed, including Network and Server Infrastructure, Security and to provide IT support to staff and students.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), particularly within an educational setting.
- Well-developed ICT technical and training skills for both technical and non-technical users.
- Proven ability to develop written training materials within an educational setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both as a member of a team and independently as required.
- Proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience with data management services.
- Experience with HP switches and Networks.
- Experience with IP Telephones.
- Experience with Synergetic School Administration package and the Schoolbox Learning Management System or similar systems.
- Experience with Office 365.
