AddressTHE ROLE
This is a part-time leave replacement position for a fixed period of 5 months, commencing in May 2024.
The primary purpose of this position is to support the implementation of quality, transformational teaching and learning practices across the College.
The Learning Support Coordinator will:
- Coordinate the Learning Support staff including managing the ESO Learning Support timetables to ensure appropriate coverage is in place for certain students and staff.
- Raise and promote awareness and skill in supporting students with additional learning needs due to disability or giftedness.
- Liaise with parents, teachers, chaplaincy, leadership, students, external medical and allied health providers in the initial and ongoing identification and support of students with additional learning challenges and extension needs.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Recognised teaching qualification or qualifications and experience in special education
- Proven, effective leadership qualities.
- The ability to coordinate a team in which each member will be valued as a contributor to the success of the College.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Loves working in a great team!
