Lovisa Opportunity:
The day to day in this role will look like:
The Leasing Executive has a very broad range of responsibilities involving all aspects in helping to manage the store real estate portfolio for Lovisa.
This involves gathering site assessment data, pro-forma forecast modelling, recommendation proposals, inspecting and evaluating sites, database management, negotiating leases and other varied relevant tasks that will deliver outcomes acceptable to the needs of the business.
- Build and manage relationships with all landlords and their management and leasing representatives
- Maintain a strong network of contacts with other retail Leasing Executives and Property Managers in industry
- Negotiate occupancy terms and conditions
- Compile market assessment for new stores and existing stores, complete with sales comparable and rental evidence from other like-minded retailers
- Complete forecast pro-forma ready for approval and action
- Ensure property database is kept up to date with correct data concerning lease expiry date, renewal dates, landlord lease incentives, Base Rent, Outgoings (and any other T's & C's)
- Regular report building and data management responsibility
- Measure store performance against original projections and renegotiate terms and conditions of lease
- Attend leasing meetings weekly or more frequently as needed to discuss lease renewals and new stores
- Regular shopping centre visits and investigate any available sites
- Participate in regular Portfolio Reviews (at least two per year) with all landlords.
A can-do attitude with the following skills:
- Previous real estate or customer service experience preferred
- Highly motivated with an appetite to grow your career in leasing
- Excellent negotiation capabilities
- Excel - Intermediate to advanced level
- Experience with a property management software
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Current drivers license required for regular site visits
