What this opportunity involves:

The role of Leasing & Transaction (L&TM) Program Manager is to lead the L&TM Program of works across the Network and Non-network part of our Client’s property portfolio. The role works closely with JLL’s Transaction Management Leads (Network and Non-Network) and Leasing Lead to manage the overall program of activities across the Client’s Domestic and International portfolio.

In this role, you will ensure consistency in the delivery of the program and will closely interact with key client stakeholders, subject matter experts in the real estate field.

This role will be based on-site with our client in either Melbourne or Sydney CBD. This is your opportunity to work for one of our well-esteemed clients and a reputable player in the industry.

Snapshot of the role:

  • To operationalize and implement the strategic leasing program, maintain oversight of key Critical Dates to allow sufficient time for the execution of all preferred/ recommended strategic options identified within the of Leasing Strategy
  • Develop processes to enable effective tracking and reporting of all key decisions
  • Provide regular updates and executive level reporting on all delivery progress, and early escalation of any potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with the key client stakeholders to ensure that L&TM Program is developed and executed in line with agreed annual plan.
  • In consultation with the client, ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures espoused within the Property Management Framework and associated Resource Management Guidelines (e.g. RMG 503 and RM 504).
  • Seek Technical Guidance from the Leasing Director and Leasing Managers in relation to the requirements for execution of Network and other complex transactions – e.g. development and content of Lease Transaction   Plans, development   of   comparable   scenarios and production of Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) including quantitative and qualitative scenario analysis.
  • Work in close collaboration with the ESTC Team (Internal Strategic Review Committee) to ensure that decisions are incorporated into the program.
  • In conjunction with the Energy & Sustainability Services (ESS) Team and Leasing Director, ensure incorporation of key environmental considerations for all applicable transactions – this includes Building Credentials.
  • Provide input into strategic consulting workshops and the development of leasing processes and Playbooks.
  • Actively engage in internal and external industry forums to ensure that global best practice is incorporated into the Client’s offering
  • Lead the development and content of regular leasing reporting to the Client – to include property status and performance including recommendations on Lease negotiations and Property Management issues.
  • Identify ‘value add’ opportunities as this applies to Transaction and Property Management (including Cost Avoidance and  Cost  Saving opportunities)

  • Tertiary qualification (Real Estate / Property / Business / Law discipline)
  • Highly developed Program Management and Leasing experience with demonstrated experience for large lease and transaction volumes
  • Transformation and systems implementation
  • Business case development and C-level reporting
  • Demonstrated effective client relationship skills – able to interact and interface with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and address complex problems within an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
