Teaching Focused Academic Level B- $110,500 - $130,649 
Plus 17% superannuation and 4/6 weeks annual leave (dependent on work location)

Support the Mental Health nursing workforce in the Northern Territory and Australia.

About the Position
As a Lecturer in Nursing (Mental Health), you will provide support to pre-registration students engaging in Mental Health placements in less intensive environments and offer support to early career nurses, in their first 5 years of practice, to enter and stay in the Mental Health sector. You will develop relevant educational material for internal and external stakeholder use that promotes positive learning experiences and contributes to the Mental Health workforce and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop sustainable support programs for pre-registration and post-registration nurses in Mental Health.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse
  • Master’s degree qualification in Nursing or related field
  • A post Graduate qualification in Mental Health, or the equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years working in Mental Health nursing.
  • Previous experience in education and development and delivery of education courses and programs
  • Ability and willingness to contribute to unit/program resource and development within the context and requitements of a quality education provider.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to work with online learning management systems.
  • Ability to build strong connections with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • The ability to lead small projects to completion.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $110,500 to $130,649 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $129,285 to $152,859 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
