The Role
The role of the Legal Administrator is to provide support and assistance to the team through various responsibilities and tasks ensuring effective time management and key priorities are met in a timely manner.
This is a fantastic permanent full time opportunity based in our Perth office, and is well suited for a career administration Assistant to join a supportive and well-respected team and law firm. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Day to Day support to the legal secretary and their respective teams of fee earners
- Day to Day general administration including but not limited to filing, scanning, data entry, mail management, courier bookings and database management
- Communication to key internal and external stakeholders in person, via phone and email correspondence including to the courts and clients
- Opening of new file matters in the CMS
- Downloading claim files from client portal and email
- Uploading claim files to the client portal
- Assisting with collating briefs to counsel and / medical experts as required
- Assist with general office maintenance when required including kitchen housekeeping
- Assisting the team with general administration including renaming affinity, briefs and naming new file documents, adhering to client naming guidelines
- Assisting with client queries by phone and email

Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Experience in a similar Administrative Assistant role
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
Desirable:
- Experience within a law firm environment
