O’Loughlins Lawyers is a well-established Adelaide-based law firm that is looking for an enthusiastic new team member to our support and administration team.
As our Administrative Assistant, you'll have the chance to work closely with our workplace safety & insurance, and litigation, teams, in a diverse role which will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
- document drafting, transcribing of dictation, document production and amendments including use of precedents;
- file management including opening and closing files, conflict checking, electronic and physical filing;
- general administrative tasks such as photocopying and conducting searches as required;
- management of monthly client reporting and billing for your team;
- preparation of court documents and briefs;
- working with and aiding other administrative and legal assistants when required; and
- supporting your practitioners in the management of their legal practice generally.
What you need
We're seeking someone with at least 2 - 3+ years' Legal Administrative experience (some experience in preparation and filing of Court documents is welcomed), and will also be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
- exceptional skills: Multitasking prowess, organizational finesse, and an eye for detail are essential;
- self-motivation: Show initiative and resilience, maintaining a commitment to quality in all tasks;
- team player mentality: Collaborate effectively while also being able to work autonomously when needed; and
- tech savvy: Proficiency in software applications like Word, Excel, Microsoft 365, and practice management systems.
