We have an amazing opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join our firm! Based in our Headquarters in Parramatta and reporting into our Executive Officer, the successful applicant will be responsible for proactively providing administrative support to the firm.
Key responsibilities include:
• providing administrative support to the wider firm to ensure efficient work practices are maintained;
• opening and closing of files;
• optimising the use of the firm’s internal systems to process information e.g. data entry for record keeping, updating client database;
• managing new client enquiries;
• performing Company searches, ASIC searches and Land Title searches;
• performing conflict searches;
• preparing accounts requisitions;
• archiving;
• scanning, photocopying and printing as and when required;
• maintaining effective working relationships;
• handling confidential and sensitive material with discretion; and
• assisting with any ad-hoc administrative tasks as and when required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• previous administration/business support experience preferably in a legal environment;
• IT savvy with good technical skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite of Products;
• high level of attention to detail;
• proven ability to prioritise workload within a busy environment and meet deadlines;
• excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
• enthusiastic team player who is willing to support others;
• a confident ‘can-do’ attitude and approach to work;
• a client-centric approach with the commitment to providing outstanding service; and
• highly adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing work environment.
