Petersen Legal are looking for a new Legal Assistant - or assistants - to join our Burnie-based law firm's operations. Duties include administration, legal drafting, telephone, client relations and basic money handling duties.
Successful applicants need to have a history in administrative work (preferably in the legal industry), be highly motivated, have high-level communication skills and be fluent with modern computing and online communications.
Experience with the MS Office package is essential; experience with LEAP legal software is preferable.
Work hours are weekdays business hours (Mon-Fri), full time with salary commensurate with experience. This position is not a “work from home” role.
