Join our nationally recognised and reputed Firm as Legal Assistant to two high performing Partners operating in the Corporate practice area. This role will be brand new for both experienced Partners, having been self-managed in the past. Due to an increased workload, they now need an experienced Legal Assistant who can dive right in and show them just how much they can make their life easier by taking the pressure off. Guiding them with your strong organisational skills and ability to multitask will have them wondering what they did without you - this is your chance to make this role your own and put your own stamp on it. THE ROLE  
  • Opening and closing of files
  • Typing, formatting, mark up and proofreading of all legal documents
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Preparation of client billings and invoices
  • Diary and calendar management
  • Travel arrangement
  • File management
  • Coordination of all meetings
  • Organisation of inhouse seminars and conferences
  • Remaining up to date with all administrative duties
  • Facilitating effective communication with legal professionals and clients  
WHAT’S NEEDED  
  • Strong experience in a previous Legal Administrative role
  • Able to hit the ground running and organise two very busy Partners
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • ‘Water off a duck’s back attitude’ - this is a fast-paced role where perseverance is essential
  • Driven and tenacious approach to work
  • Experience with Aderant and iManage is ideal, with strong typing and accuracy
  • Collaborative nature with a diplomatic and consultative approach
