AddressOur client is a boutique Family law firm who offer a supportive culture and the opportunity to grow within the firm. A unique position has become available for an experienced Legal Secretary to support a Director and and a small team on a full-time basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing support to this Family Law team and be engaged in all aspects of a legal support role including:-
- Drafting of legal documents and correspondence
- Compiling disclosure documents
- Conducting research tasks
- Maintenance of accurate records
- Workflow management of files including opening and closing
- Check online Family Court lists regularly
- Diary management
- Assist with preparation for client consultations and court attendances
- Preparing briefs to Counsel
- General administration duties
To be successful in this role you will have initiative, a strong work ethic, excellent organisation skills and thrive in a busy environment. You should also have:-
- Exceptional oral communication skills
- The ability to juggle a busy workload with varying deadlines
- Knowledge of Family Court procedures, rules and regulations
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Proficient computer skills including Office365
