As a growing, multi-location practice, we are seeking a full time Practice Manager responsible for managing the day-to-day practice operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business. Working alongside our existing admin staff, learning the front house operations, processes and systems, the Practice Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the business. Communicating with the Podiatrists and administration staff, and executing effective communication skills with the Director is a must.
This role will require you to also work closely with third party referrers to further strengthen our relationships, with a key focus on providing high quality patient care. If you have an eye for detail, can work autonomously with accountability, are adaptable and solution focused, than this role is for you.
Practice Manager Role - Key responsibilities.
- Leadership of clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Promoting a positive work culture.
- Interacting with patients.
- Liasing with the Directors around practice systems, procedures, and operations.
- Front desk administration duties when required.
- Point of call for staff queries.
- Working with staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Using initiative to problem solve.
- Executing new procedures into the clinic and follow up with staff on protocols.
Practice Manager Role - Requirements.
- Experience in administration roles where problem solving skills are required.
- Excellent organisation skills and experience in prioritising tasks.
- Ability to show leadership, delegation and follow up skills.
- Ability to create documents in Excel and Word, as well as high computer literacy to enable leaning new programs/design features with ease.
- Positive mindset.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an allied health or medical front desk role.
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Private Health Fund Claims through HICAPS.
- Advanced computer skills with practice management software and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to be flexible with locations (enabling overseeing staff in both our Kawana and Landsborough locations).
