Who are we looking for?
We are currently interested in hearing from lawyers with commercial experience and 3 to 5 years PAE. You will join our LOD lawyer team in Brisbane and be seconded to one of our local government clients, where you'll assist with a range of matters including:
- advising on procurement contracts;
- reviewing and advising on a broad range of general commercial contracts and arrangements including funding and sponsorship agreements;
- advising on leasing and other property related matters;
- assisting with Planning appeals, litigation and disputes; and
- preparing written advice for internal stakeholders.
You
In order to be suitable you’ll have:
- approx. 3 to 5 years PQE in the types of matters as set out above;
- an unrestricted practising certificate; and
- excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact and manage relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
As this opportunity is immediately available, you’ll also ideally be available to commence work on short notice.
