As part of the firm’s strategy to grow and further internationalise our risk group, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Risk and Resilience Manager – APAC to join our team ideally based in Melbourne (candidates based in Sydney may also be considered).
Working closely with our Senior Risk & Resilience Manager you will be responsible for embedding and managing the function within the region, playing a key role in enhancing our risk landscape by managing (and developing) risk management strategies, policies, and procedures specific to the regional context, ensuring alignment with the firm’s international risk management framework and promoting ongoing improvements throughout the region. As a trusted advisor, you will pride yourself on your exceptional stakeholder management skills and play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of international Risk Group projects and initiatives, fostering regional contribution and encouraging active engagement.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks within the region, collaborating with regional teams and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive risk coverage
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including Country and Office Managing Partners
- Managing regional risk initiatives, including risk workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns, to promote a risk-aware culture and enhance risk management capabilities
- Supporting Incident and Crisis Management efforts within the region, including incident reporting, investigation, and lessons learned exercises
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated experience of operating at management level in a matrix managed global organisation across multiple time zones
- Strong understanding of risk disciplines including risk frameworks and Business Continuity
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations, demonstrating a flexible and collaborative working style
