Form of workNick Xenophon & Co Lawyers is a boutique law firm located in the North-Eastern suburb of Paradise, specialising in Personal Injury Claims. We are currently seeking two Legal Secretaries to join our friendly and dynamic team, one on a full time basis, and one on a part time basis.
Previous experience in this role or similar and familiarity in Personal Injuries Matters, particularly Motor Vehicle Accident Claims, Medical Negligence Claims and Public Liability Claims is highly preferred.
You will also have excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is proactive, uses initiative and works well both autonomously and within a fast paced team environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting correspondence as required;
- Providing support to solicitors by maintaining diaries of appointments, deadlines, court attendances and reminders;
- Arranging medical appointments, meetings and the like;
- Client liaison and communication;
- Preparation of Medicare, ATO and other general authorities;
- Preparation of briefs;
- Answering incoming calls and welcoming clients;
- Billing and accounts assistance; and
- Other general and administrative functions.
