About the Role
We are a boutique firm specialising in employment law and personal injury matters, with an opening for a legal secretary & typist to join our team at our busy Adelaide CBD office. In this role, you will be providing support to a welcoming and supportive team of lawyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Audio-typing/Dictaphone typing
- Transcribing and drafting files and legal documents
- Diary management
- Prepare documents and attend to routine correspondence
- Maintain filing, including monitoring and follow-up of all correspondence using appropriate data base systems
- Manage incoming calls and visitors
- Information management i.e. excel spreadsheets, practice management system (Open Practice)
- Undertake other duties as required relating to the requirements of the operational area, including relieving reception duties
- Ensure services are completed in a timely and professional manner
