SalaryWe are recruiting a variety of Legal Secretarial roles for some of the best Law firms right in the heart of the CBD. These include mid and top tier, and also boutique. You will be supporting either Partners or Associates and as such, it is imperative that you have at least 2-3 years’ experience as a CAREER Legal Secretary. All Firms are extremely supportive with some flexibility and encourages a safe, friendly, and collaborative work environment with great health and well-being initiatives in place.
We have roles in the areas of Criminal, Property, Personal Injury, Wills & Estates, Medical Negligence, Family etc. Experience in these areas is imperative.
DUTIES
- Opening and closing of files
- Drafting correspondence
- Arranging meetings
- Diary management
- Dictation typing
- Preparing probate applications and briefs to Counsel
- Client liaison
- Using online registry
- Plus more!
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as a CAREER Legal Secretary (this is not a pathway into a Legal role unfortunately)
- Experience in areas such as Personal Injury, Medical Negligence, Wills & Estates, Property, Construction etc
- Australian working rights
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience in Legal software imperative e.g. Aderant Expert, iManage, LEAP etc
- Ability to multitask and deal with strict deadlines
- Friendly, warm and cooperative attitude
- These roles are paying a range of $75-$95K package dependent on skills and experience and which Law Firm
- 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
