Hays has partnered with a reputable law firm that is based on the Central Coast. We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
In this position, you will be working closely with senior lawyers to provide administration support. Your day-to-day responsibilities would include:

• Provide administrative support to the senior lawyer, including diary and calendar management.
• Document management, including filling and preparing documentation for internal and external distribution.
• Managing files through multiple systems, including Supreme & District Court Portals.
• Engaging with clients and external stakeholders, upholding a high level of communication at all times.
• Billing and invoicing clients.
• Completing digital dictation.
• Preparing Briefs and completing reports for clients.
• General administration as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, Paralegal or in Legal Administration.
• Advanced technical skills and typing skills, including experience using Microsoft Suite and legal softwares.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage your own priorities and work independently.
• Be motivated, take initiative, and have a positive 'can do' attitude.
