About the position
Council's Arts and Culture Department is looking for a Library Communications and Engagement Officer who will assist with the promotion and delivery of library programs and activities.
The main responsibilities will include:

  • Library promotion and marketing
  • Programs and events support
  • Customer service
  • Assist community members to access library services
This is a part time role working 29.75 hours per week. This includes a weekly Tuesday shift on the service desk at Frankston 9am-2pm and a fortnightly Sunday at Carrum Downs shift on the service desk 12.45pm-4pm.
About you
  • Experience contributing to social media and internet content in a community service context
  • Experience with graphic design tools for production of print materials and display screens

This position is a Band 4 currently remunerated between $70,945.56 to $75,499.53 (pro rata), per annum, plus superannuation. Salary level will be based on the experience level of the candidate. Overtime will also be paid as required.
