About the role
This position is essential for promoting lifelong learning, literacy, and leisure opportunities for all age groups through various Library Programs and events. You will be part of a supportive team environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.
On a daily basis you will:
- Develop and implement a calendar of programs and activities
- Assist in evaluating program effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Empower staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Provide rostered customer service at all library locations
About You
The ideal candidate will possess prior operational experience in implementing Library Programs, with a demonstrated history of meeting objectives. Excellent customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with external partners and organisations.
You will also bring:
- Diploma qualification in Information Science/Librarianship or other tertiary qualifications with relevant demonstrable skills and experience.
- Well-developed planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Demonstrated operational experience in delivering programs.
- Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, build relationships and influence others with an engaging approach and technique.
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive remuneration from $$77,569.26 to $85,424.97 plus 11% superannuation.
This role is currently based in Central Parramatta, and will work across seven library branches.
