We have an exciting opportunity in the Clinical Engagement Division of the Clinical Engagement and Patient Safety Directorate for a Program Support Officer

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Engagement, you will perform project management and Program Support activities which assist in the coordination of services provided by the Clinical Engagement Division, including preparing reports and briefs, coordinating resources, and maintaining project documentation. The broader aspect of this role is to be involved in budgeting, monitoring and updating the Clinical Engagement work plan, to help ensure division outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within the agreed scope, in line with established project management methodology and change management processes.

What you will do

As an integral member of the Clinical Engagement Division of the Clinical Engagement and Patient Safety Directorate, you will:

  • Identify, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables, including optimising communication with the Office of the Chief Clinical Information Officer, CEPS directorate.
  • Assist in managing the collection and collation of information, recording minutes of meetings, preparing reports and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain presentations and documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to improve stakeholder communications, ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of division outcomes

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • Proven experience in providing high-level program co-ordination and administrative support to highly complex projects in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding in project management frameworks and associated tools and change management processes relating to program delivery environments. This includes proven knowledge and capability in maintaining project schedules, risk and issues registers, identifying potential or actual project issues and seeking resolution through the appropriate channels.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business-focused solutions.
