Your new role
The licencing manager will be responsible foridentifying the company’s brand goals, exploring licensing opportunities,coordinating with the merchandise team to create a cohesive product offering,negotiating deals, and managing the licencing team’s schedule. Additionally,you’ll analyse and report on the licencing campaign results to inform futuresteps.
Collaborate with brand managers to set yearly licensing goals and priorities.Translate high-level strategies into actionable tasks for the licensing team.Maintain brand integrity across all licensed products, aligning with the overall brand strategy.Identify and secure business opportunities with licensing brands, partners, and affiliates.Coordinate with internal management to make licensing decisions and develop strategies.Manage and prioritize tasks for the licensing team.Organize show and brand assets for licensees.Create timelines for licensing development and rollout plans.Ensure timely delivery of assets and style guides to licensees.Analyze data from license campaigns. What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, project management or similar.Keen eye for aesthetic and detail.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong stakeholder management and time management skills.An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things.Strong understanding of merchandise and licensed product categories and their appropriate demographics.
