IWC is seeking a part-time up to full-time Local Area Coordinator Services Manager to lead our established team of Local Area Coordinators.

IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation. We deliver services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.

DUTIES:
- Monitoring team members’ participation and performance to ensure the milestones, targets and KPI’s are achieved.
- Providing quality customer service, including interacting with participants, answering queries, and effectively handling customer complaints.
- Managing/Organising the flow of day-to-day operations within your team including timesheet approval, leave planners, leave approval and rostering.
- Monitoring all team members’ participation and performance to ensure the NDIS tasks are completed to a high quality.
- Ensuring that the IWC NDIS Team are compliant with NDIS planning and implementation policies/guideline in accordance with NDIS legislative framework and NDIS Contractual Obligations.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous Management or Supervisory experience is desirable.
- Excellent computer skills, written communication, problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to meet targets and goals.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a person-centered approach to service provision and social inclusion.
- Good listening, communication and influencing skills.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- An NDIS Workers Screening Check and Clearance or ability to obtain.
- A current driver's licence or ability to obtain.
- A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
- Complete COVID-19 Vaccination Status (as per IWC Policy).
- A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.
* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.
SALARY PACKAGE:
Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -
- Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $4,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).
- Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).
- 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).
- Superannuation valued at 10.5%.
- Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%
