Our clients are Councils located in the East suburbs of Melbourne who are continuously seeking temps to support their team in the Local Laws Department. They are after candidates who are passionate in shaping the future of their city and the people who are part of it, as well as encourage their employees to grow and develop to their best potential.
Your new role
You will be an experienced Local Laws Officer and your duties on a daily basis will include:
- Report instances of overhanging vegetation, hard rubbish, abandoned vehicles and any other public complaints
- Issuing infringements or conduct follow-ups
- Litter enforcement if required
- And potential animal management duties if required
What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent communication and organisation skills as well as;
- Experience working as a Local Laws or Animal Management
- Passion for contributing to the community
- Valid police check and a clean drivers' licence
