About the role
Based in Ramingining, you will manage the daily operations of the 21-room accommodation facility and provide guests with a positive experience. You will provide your Yolgnu team members with meaningful training, employment, and career pathways.
This position is based in Ramingining,NT.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical and administrative support for the operation of the lodge including stock control, cleaning, equipment management, purchasing, logistics, rostering, scheduling repairs, and undertaking maintenance.
- Propose and support activities to build the client base including internal and external marketing, promoting online bookings, and community organisation engagement.
- Utilise the ALPA Registered Training Organisation to assist in and support the training of Yolgnu staff.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience managing a lodge or accommodation facility.
- Experience in adhering to and reporting key performance indicators in a supervisory role.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic origin.
- Previous experience Little Hotelier booking system is desirable.
