Operating for over three decades, this well-established 3PL business has a new opportunity for a highly motivated junior logistics professional to join their team as a Logistics Coordinator. Based in West Melbourne, this company prides themselves on providing seamless, bulk supply chain solutions to their ever-growing client base.
Your new role
Daily tasks in the Logistics Coordinator role will include:
- Accurate data entry
- General warehousing duties, including forklift driving
- Receiving and processing of invoices
- Stock control and reconciliation
- Customer liaison around freight and inventory
- Transport bookings and raising consignment notes
- Involvement in regular group meetings directed by senior management
What you’ll need to succeed
- A good knowledge of the transport industry
- A current FL licence
- Strong computer literacy
- The ability to recognise operational improvements within the business
- A strong team approach to your work
- Flexibility when responding to change
- Strong understanding of inventory control
- Data entry experience in a freight forwarding capacity
