Logistics company based in Campbellfield, specialising in milk and yogurt products is looking to employ a Logistics Coordinator who will be working in their milk crate area of the business, in a permanent role
Your new role
As a Logistics Coordinator/ Crate Controller, you will be responsible for the efficient management of Milk Crates within the company.
Duties will include:
- Monitoring milk crate inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock availability.
- Coordinating crate deliveries and collections with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of crate transactions and associated documentation.
- Resolving any crate related issues or disputes in a timely manner
- Coordinate stock takes.
- Identify areas where crates are being lost on deployment and in transit
- Build relationships with customers to get crates returned and minimise losses
- Previous experience in managing equipment and coordination of deliveries
- MR truck licence ideal but not essential
- Experience with 2IC and SAP
- Demonstrated relationship development between Transport, Warehouse and Customer
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of pallet management systems and processes is preferred
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills and Time management planning skills
- Friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and motivated
- Be immediately available
