Roles and Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally handling customer inquiries via phone calls (low volume)
- Working either morning or afternoon shifts, with 1-2 hours allocated for truck loading daily.
- Accurately processing orders, including quoting, data entry, processing, and sending documentation as part of day-to-day operations.
- Managing all incoming purchase orders efficiently.
- Tracking courier freight and following up with customers as needed.
- Maintaining excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Performing general administrative duties and keeping records of customer service activities.
- Collaborating with sales and supply chain teams to manage stock requirements effectively.
What you’ll need to succeed:
A can-do attitude and a willingness to dive into tasks. They need to be happy to get stuck in and help out where needed.
- Flexibility to assist wherever necessary and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Excellent communication abilities paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Have a current driver’s license and forklift ticket.
- Ideally experience with effectively leading a team
- Industry experience preferable
- You have full Australian working rights – Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
