A challenging Logistics Coordinator position has become available for experienced candidates to oversee the strategic direction and management of the supply department.
We are a 7-day continuous operation and are looking to place the successful candidate in a flexible capacity, that will require work outside of ordinary hours.
You must be available to work Sunday (for a Monday start) & Thursday (for a Friday start) nights from 12.30am & every other day 1am and may end between 9am to 11am.
Our workplace is a fast-paced environment and we serve hundreds of customers every day with fresh fruit and vegetables.

As Logistics Coordinator you will work with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth running of our operations. Leading a strong team in our fast-paced environment, you will ensure the safe and effective management of the delivery of fresh produce to all internal and external customers.
The principal accountabilities of the position are:
Schedule and coordinate local movements
- Prepare documentation, packing slips
- Co-ordinate the team & back dock
- Work directly with business units to ensure all orders are packed and delivered in an prompt and cost-effective manner
- Coordinate the review of fresh produce in order to determine;
- Correct packaging
- Correct destination requirements
- Correct labelling and documentation
- Develop, nurture, and maintain high quality relationships with internal and external customers
- Liaise with Management & Sales Team as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved on any concern
- Complete inbound and outbound load documentation including pallet movements
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company procedures and comply with safe working practices, policies
The successful applicant will also meet the following criteria:
- 2-5 years’ experience within a logistics environment
- Good organisation skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated time management skills with an ability to multi-task
