We work with milk processors and their factories, our job is:
- to get the milk collected from the farmer as accurately as possible,
- ensure that flow meter data and sampling is is accurate so that the farmer gets paid accurately,
- adhere to NHVR and safety regulations, and
- get the milk delivered into factories on time, so that the processors have their milk product on time, every time!
We are looking for an intelligent and enthusiastic professional who has leadership qualities who can take charge when required! The role has the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all loads are picked up from farm on time and delivered to the factory on time.
- Ensuring data is correct for milk flow systems,
- Checking load log sheets to ensure all data is correct.
- All NHVR regulations (mass, maintenance, fatigue) are complied with. (Are well documented, and you will be trained and inducted into.) Ie ensuring the drivers complete pre-start checks, reporting failure to comply to compliance manager.
- Tuesday meetings - where you will provide statistical reports to management, ie - issues raised by our clients and resolutions provided to them.
- Attend meetings with processors via teams or in person.
- From time to time, you may be required to attend functions, golfing events and further training.
- You will be on call for four nights a week, and will divert the call, the other 3 nights.
- Uniform provided.
Your role will be to prioritise the needs of our clients first and foremost. You will be their contact person, so it is important that you are charismatic, easy to get along with and have the ability to problem solve with a sense of urgency.
It's important to say yes to resolving the issue, but also ensure that all NHVR rules are set out for staff are complied with.
We have a professional driving team, who genuinely care about getting the job completed as accurately and safely as possible, who have all recently undergone their annual refresher training, so you will have a strong team of drivers who know what they are doing to assist in complete the company's objectives.
It is a requirement that you have completed an NHVR schedulers course prior to starting.
*If you are offered the job and undertake the course, you must provide your certificate prior to your first day on the job. The job is extremely fast paced and there will not be time for you to undertake the course at the same time.
