Because of its commitment to quality and service, it has seen consistent business growth and is now seeking a self-motivated and well organised Logistics Coordinator-Driver to support the needs of a growing business with a broad customer base. Reporting into the Business Development and Logistics Manager, you will plan, coordinate and deliver all the inward and outward products and materials for the business.

About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator is a pivotal role within the organisation. Customer facing, it is responsible for balancing the expectations of the clients with the production output of the business by efficiently scheduling and delivering products on time to meet promised expectations.
The role liaises between customers, suppliers, external contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of products inwards and outwards is achieved.
This role requires excellent communication with the customers, Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, production staff, the delivery drivers and sales staff internally to ensure a smooth delivery operation is maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule and manage all delivery expectations, delivering products on time (as agreed with the customer) and in full
- Product delivery logistics - manage loading & unloading of outward goods to support efficient delivery.
- Purchasing standard stock as required
- Assist customers with enquiries through the Service Desk
- Assist with delivery of products as required as the 3rd driver in the team
- Goods inward management – assist with unloading of goods, record and confirm delivery of all inwards goods. Check quantities and report errors.
- Provide data to financial management.
- OH&S - manage the service and roadworthy status of all delivery vehicles (including routine servicing), maintain all tie downs and rigging gear to a compliant standard and maintain excellent housekeeping at all times.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in logistics and transportation
- Current full Victorian license
- Proven delivery scheduling and logistics execution experience
- MS Office skills – Word, Outlook
- Medium rigid truck driving license
Preferred
- Fork-lift license
