As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.Thales Australia seeks a skilled and motivated individual to join us as a Logistics Supervisor. This role is pivotal in providing inventory and logistics support for distributing Explosive Ordnance (EO) to meet ADF operational needs. You will drive continuous improvement in business processes, ensuring seamless warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
- Manage day-to-day third-party transportation operations effectively
- Coordinate EO distribution between depots and approved sites
- Support the transportation of EO via various modes using Thales assets and sub-contracted arrangements
- Develop and manage wholesale distribution schedules for stock redistribution
- Maintain and enhance third-party transport agreements
- Identify and mitigate risks affecting transport activities
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and internal procedures
- Lead logistics activities cross-functionally to support business objectives

- Diploma of Business (or higher) in Logistic Management or equivalent
- Demonstrated logistics management experience
- Accountability, decision-making skills, and the ability to influence others
- Previous experience within Defence / Logistics is highly desirable
