With an audience of discerning private clients, architects and interior designers, we pride ourselves on delivering made to order works of bathroom art. Due to ongoing growth, we are expanding our team in Melbourne and are looking for a sales Consultant to work both in our showroom and on the road, generating new sales opportunities and new relationships.
About you.
You have experience, or education in Interior design, or a keen interest and passion for the industry.
You love meeting new people and understand the value of relationship development and having genuine conversations with your customers to identify their needs and provide solutions.
Are highly motivated and organised. You have an innate ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and are driven by deadlines and meeting targets.
You will be comfortable managing a project from lead through to delivery and be highly competent in the administrative tasks required to complete the order.
You love the balance of consulting with clients in a showroom environment, as well as being out on the road as required.
You are composed under pressure, love to problem solve and thrive in a dynamic sales role.
You have at least 5 years’ experience in Luxury sales, and proven success in both meeting sales targets and growing a professional network, ideally within the A&D community.
You have full rights to work within Australia, have a current driver’s license and your own car. You are also available for rotational Saturday work.

The Role
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment for customers who visit the showroom and assisting with product selection and ordering.
- Ensuring the showroom is immaculately presented and displays cleaned and well maintained at all times.
- Answering phone and email enquiries and tracking showroom leads.
- Regularly liaising with all project stakeholders to supply samples, quotes, lead times etc, and ensuring they have specific, accurate, relevant and updated information.
- Consulting with customers to understand their design intent, budgets, and project timelines.
- Admin duties including, coordinating deliveries when containers arrive, entering Distributor orders and general assistance to the retail team.
- Researching and growing new relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Developers and Builders.
- Targeting new project leads by gathering market intelligence and presenting apaiser solutions to the A & D community.
- External sales calls – presenting the brand to new firms as well as regular meetings with existing contacts.
- Actively working with your A&D network to generate new project specifications.
- Managing an opportunity from lead through to project delivery, and the administrative tasks required to do so (e.g. quoting, invoicing, ordering, dispatch)
- Developing and managing a project pipeline and achieving project sales targets.
- Preparing accurate sales forecasts and regular reports demonstrating activity, opportunity and sales.
- Working both independently and collaboratively with the Melbourne and international project teams.
- Organising and attending instore events, as well as external networking events. There may also be a requirement for some interstate, overnight travel.
