• 3 days in Office mandatory

• Location- Collins Street, Melbourne CBD

Your new company 

Reputed State Government organisation responsible for implementing Victorian government policy on early childhood services, school education and training and higher education services. 

Your new role 

• Provide M365 Workspace technical expertise across administration and migration activities.
• Engage in migration configuration workshops and operational activities.
• Deliver expertise and experience using migration tools such as AvePoint for M365 cloud migrations.
• Ensure devices can connect to central network post migration.
• Assist local school technician with any login, user mapping or data access issues post migration.
• Validate and confirm all user data has migrated successful, minimising disruption for staff and students.
• Escalate major incidents relating to data migration and or any security risks.
• Work with Business Analyst to assess application dependencies and integration complexities ahead of migration.
• Work as the M365 SME to provide input into service migration solutions.
• Work closely with technical stakeholders to identify environment complexities, dependencies, assist schools to work through User mapping tasks including final reviews.
• Ensures good governance and controls regarding the handling of sensitive, personal and private information during and post migration.
• Provide report to project manager of any issues or outstanding incident post migration.
• Ensuring compliance with established Cloud Engineering Collaboration Tool and standards and policies.

What you'll need to succeed 

• 4-6 years of experience in M365 tenant migration
• Experience in providing technical support for M365 collaboration platform in educational institutions is highly desirable.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer focus and customer engagement.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and strategic thinker.
• Tech savvy and ability to pick things up quickly and hit the ground running.
• Ability to work under pressure and within defined timelines.
• Experience with M365 migration tools, such as Ave Point or similar
